I began a journey to a land far away;
A journey which snatches me from here;
Taking steps I couldn’t take right here;
Building things that could only stay there.
My journey was swift and sweet;
I had those things I had always wanted;
And everything was perfect in that place;
Its beauty never cease to mesmerize me.
I wanted to stay more and savour its awe;
Perhaps get married and raise offsprings;
Own cars, houses and wealth;
But then I had to go back against my wish.
Momma’s voice brought me back to reality;
And my reverie was cut short;
Albeit short and interrupted;
I loved my trip to wonderland!
